Modes

A season mode that runs through the schedule into the playoffs, with full games and a simulated defense.

The throw has a window: too early and the receiver isn't there, too late and the coverage is. Learning that window is the game.

1. Find the release point first. Spend the first drive learning when the throw lands cleanly, not chasing yards. Once the timing sits in your thumb, the rest follows.
2. Take the short throw when the long one is covered. Chains move on short gains too. A safe completion beats a bomb into coverage most downs.
3. Play the clock late in the game. Full games mean the clock is real. When you're ahead late, don't force throws; when you're behind, take every snap fast.
4. Reset after a pick. Interceptions come from the simulated defense and they'll feel unfair. Don't chase the next throw; go back to the timing that was working.
5. Treat each game as its own thing. The season is long enough that a lost game doesn't end it. Bank wins where you can and don't panic over one loss.

Madden is the full sport; Retro Bowl is the sport shrunk to a phone with management on top. QB Legend is smaller than both. In the version I played there's no roster to manage, no defense to run, no play art to read. What's left is the one moment Retro Bowl also nails, the pass, wrapped in a season so the moment has stakes. If Retro Bowl is your favorite phone football game, think of this as its arcade cousin: quicker, shallower, and easier to drop into for one game between videos. If Madden is your bar, this will feel like a mini-game, because it is.

The game is built as a season: a schedule of full games, then the playoffs, with a championship at the end. The defense is simulated, so every play is your offense against a computer that reacts rather than a second player. Games are short and drives are shorter, which makes the season the right length for a week of short sessions rather than one sitting. In my run the early games taught the timing and the later ones tested it, which is about the arc you'd want.
