Football where you control the ball itself, not the players
7:11You are the ball, not the striker, and weaving past a full back line with one finger feels great.

Crazy Kick flips the football game around: you drag the ball, not a player. The first run took me about ten seconds to understand and about thirty to like. Defenders slide toward you, you bend the ball around them, and when the goal opens up you let go and it flies. That first clean goal lands the way a good Skee-Ball roll does.
The loop is short levels that get more crowded. Early on it's one or two defenders and a lot of space; later the route through the box is a thread you pull without touching anyone. Lose the ball and the attempt ends, so there's no rebuilding, just restart and go again. Every level is one unbroken dribble, which is the whole appeal.
Complaints: the defenders move in patterns you learn fast, so by the middle stretch it's more memorization than reading the play. Voodoo's usual level-after-level structure means the game never changes gear, and a couple of tackles felt like they came from further away than they should have.
Play it if you like the dribbling part of football and none of the rest. Skip it if you want passing, tactics or a match with a scoreline.
The first football game where you control the ball, not the players! Overtake your opponents, move swiftly, and shoot goals !

Crazy Kick! turns football around: you move the ball rather than a player. You dribble it past defenders, thread it through the gaps they leave, and finish at the goal. Losing the ball ends the attempt, so every run is one unbroken piece of control.
Levels are short and get tighter as more defenders crowd the route, and the appeal is a clean run rather than a match result. The game runs free inside YouTube with no download, which makes it easy to fit around actual football. Good for fans who want something quicker than a full match.
How to play: Drag to guide the ball around defenders, then release near the goal to shoot.
Good for: football fans, short sessions
Losing the ball ends the attempt, so a slow safe route beats a fast one that clips a defender.
Compare it to FIFA or eFootball and it isn't really the same sport. There's no team, no passing lanes to read, no fatigue, no keeper you can outthink. It's closer to Soccer Stars or the penalty mini-games you find on game sites: one thing to do, done well. The nearest cousin is probably a maze runner with a football skin, since the whole game is finding the line between moving bodies. If you enjoy the moment in a real football game when a winger beats three men, and you'd like to be the ball for once, this is that moment on repeat. If you want the ninety minutes, keep your console.
Usually, yes. The game runs inside youtube.com rather than on a separate game site, so the filters that block the usual game portals at school or work tend to leave it alone. The catch is the obvious one: if YouTube itself is blocked, there's no way around it. There's also nothing to download. Tap Play, it loads in the browser or the YouTube app, and your phone or laptop is the console. That's why I'd point anyone asking about a download to the YouTube version first.

Elsewhere: 4.7★ (950,914 ratings) on App Store
The TubeGames rating is our estimate, not a vote. It combines public ratings of the same game elsewhere (App Store 4.7★ (950,914 ratings)) with how it holds up on YouTube Playables: how many people play it and whether they keep playing weeks after launch. Once 10 players rate Crazy Kick! here, their average becomes the headline score.
