TubeGames is an independent catalog and daily statistics tracker for YouTube Playables — the free games that run inside YouTube itself, with no download and no app store. YouTube ships those games as a shelf with no search box, no rankings and no numbers. TubeGames adds all three: every one of the 1,409 games in a single searchable list, ranked by how much they are actually played, each with its own page and a direct link that opens the game inside YouTube.

It is free, works without an account, and installs to a phone home screen as an app straight from the browser — no app store involved. Good places to start: the full games list, the live top 50, the genres or what was added this week.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure on TubeGames is read from YouTube's own public Playables catalog. Nothing is estimated, modelled or bought from a third party. Once a day the whole catalog is walked page by page and written down: title, studio, genre, release date and the play counter YouTube shows on each card. Comparing today's file with yesterday's is what produces the daily play deltas behind the charts — a difference that cannot be reconstructed after the fact, which is why every daily file is kept from day one.

One detail changes the numbers enough to be worth stating. YouTube rounds play counts to three significant digits in English, which is coarse enough to hide an entire day of play on a mid-sized game. The same counter is more precise in other languages: German gives the exact figure below a million, Japanese counts in units of ten thousand. TubeGames reads the catalog in all three and keeps the most precise value available for each game, along with the rounding step that value came with — so a number is never presented as more exact than it really is.
