The facts, honestly
- Playables is 13+ content by YouTube's rules. It does not exist in the YouTube Kids app, and supervised accounts (Family Link) don't see the Playables shelf at all.
- Every game is free with ads. There are no purchases and no downloads — revenue is advertising, and some games offer optional rewarded ads («watch an ad for a bonus»).
- Progress saves to the signed-in Google account — whoever is signed in owns the saves (how saves work).
What parents can actually control
