Cat Escape is a sneaking game shrunk to phone size. You're a cat in a room full of security guards, and you swipe to slip past them, hide in closets, press the buttons that drop the barriers, and reach the exit door. The first level took me one try; the first with two guards crossing paths took four, and that's when it clicked.
The loop is short levels that ask you to read the room before you move. Guards patrol, traps wait, and the fun is finding the moment when everyone is looking the wrong way. Eating cat food powers you up to smash through obstacles, which makes some levels a rush rather than a tiptoe. Between escapes there's a virtual pet side: feed the cat, pet it, dress it as a pirate or a unicorn. It's fluff, but it's good fluff.
The complaints: the swipe control can carry the cat further than you meant, which in a stealth game is a death. Some levels are solved by trial and error more than by reading, and the pet side can feel like a detour when you just want the next room.
Play it if you like sneaking puzzles and cats, in that order or the other. Skip it if you want stealth with real tension.
😼 Sneak, swipe, and escape the chaos. Only the smartest cats can break free! Are you one of them? Play now and care for a cute virtual kitty!

Cat Escape is a puzzle about getting a cat out of a tight spot. You swipe to move it past whatever blocks the way, reading each layout before you commit rather than taking the first opening you see.
Levels are small enough to solve in a minute, and there is a softer side to it as well, with a kitty to look after between escapes. It runs free inside YouTube with no download, so it fits into short gaps in the day.
How to play: Swipe to move the cat and plan a route out before the way closes.
Good for: cat lovers, quick puzzle breaks
Guards look one way at a time; the moment they turn is the moment to move.
Every big stealth game has the same core: guards with a line of sight, a patrol pattern, and a player who moves when they look away. Cat Escape keeps that core and throws out everything else. No alert states that spiral into a shootout, no gadgets, no map bigger than a room. It's the sneaking minigame from a larger game, pulled out and given a cat. That's a compliment; the levels are tight and the failure is fast, so you retry instead of reloading. What's missing is tension. Being caught costs you twenty seconds, and the guards are goofy rather than scary, which is what makes it a phone game and not a night in.
Yes, and the cat is the reason. Being caught means a quick restart, the guards are cartoons, and the pet side, with feeding, petting and dress-up as a pirate or a vampire, is aimed squarely at younger players. The puzzles themselves ask for patience, which is a good thing to practice. The one wrinkle is the swipe control: on tight levels a kid may find the cat running further than intended and get cross about it. It runs free inside YouTube with nothing to install, so there's no app store or purchase step to supervise.
