Vex 9 is Azerion's latest entry in the stickman parkour series, on YouTube since Jun 28, 2026. You run, jump, and slide a stick figure through obstacle courses packed with traps, and each stage asks for tighter timing than the one before. The first thing I felt was the old Vex feeling: die, see exactly why, and go again before the screen finishes fading.
The loop is course memorization. Nothing here is random, so every death is information, and a section that killed you ten times becomes a section you clear on autopilot. The stages build in small steps, and the moment a hard one finally clicks is the reason this series is on its ninth game.
The complaints: some stages jump from tricky to cruel with no warm-up, and touch controls on a phone are a real handicap. On a keyboard the timing feels crisp; on a screen my thumbs added a beat of lag to every jump.
Play it if you like the Geometry Dash retry loop with a platformer's freedom. Skip it if a twenty-death section makes you close the tab.

Tips for the hard stages
- Keep running. Hesitating before a gap kills your jump distance. Commit at full speed or back up and start the run again.
- Learn in chunks. Treat each stretch between deaths as its own puzzle. Once a chunk is automatic, stop thinking about it and look ahead.
- Slide early. Sliding starts a beat after you press. Press before the low obstacle, not under it.
- Play on a keyboard for the nasty ones. Phone is fine for the early stages. When the timing gets tight, a keyboard removes half your deaths.
- Watch the pattern, then move. Moving traps loop. Stand still for one full cycle, count it, then go on the beat.
Is Vex 9 unblocked?
Mostly, yes. Vex 9 inside YouTube runs on youtube.com, so it works anywhere YouTube does, and that includes most school networks that block the game portals. If YouTube itself is blocked, nothing I can suggest gets you in. I'd skip the 'unblocked' mirror sites regardless; the game here is Azerion's own build, free, with no download, and mirrors tend to be older copies with worse controls, which in a timing game is the whole problem.
Vex 9 vs Geometry Dash
Both are retry games, and both make dying feel like homework you're happy to do. The difference is control. Geometry Dash is one button and a fixed scroll; you can't slow down, so every level is rhythm. Vex gives you a stick figure with a run, a jump, and a slide, and lets you stop and think.
That makes Vex more forgiving in the moment and harder to master, because your own hesitation becomes an obstacle. If Geometry Dash's autoscroll frustrates you, Vex is the one. If you love the beat, stay put.
