Draw Action gives you a fighter, a set of enemies and one stroke. You draw a line on the screen and your character follows it, swinging as it goes, so the line is the plan, the path and the attack all at once. The first thing I felt was surprise at how much a single scribble can express: a straight dash, a hook around a shield, a loop that hits two enemies on the way back.
What keeps you playing is that levels are short and the answer is an idea. Fail, redraw, done in ten seconds. The first eighteen or so levels teach the vocabulary, then the game starts combining it: enemies behind cover, enemies that move, a line that has to weave. When a level took me six tries it was because I kept drawing the obvious line instead of the clever one.
Complaints: a fair number of levels accept any rough line, so the puzzle only shows up now and then. The App Store version is rated 13+ in Indonesia for the cartoon fighting, which is a fair heads-up. And the enemy roster repeats.
Play it if you liked Draw Climber or Save the Doge and want the drawing to do the fighting. Skip it if you want precision or a long campaign.

How to play Draw Action

- Draw a line with your finger and your fighter follows it, hitting whatever it passes; lift to go.

- Hold the left mouse button and draw the line, release to send the fighter along it.

- Numbered levels that add moving enemies and cover as you go; the first batch is a tutorial in disguise.
- Progress
- Your level is saved the way YouTube Playables saves it.
The fighter attacks along the whole path, so the shape of the line is the weapon; a loop is a double hit.
Tips for the levels that need a clever line
- Draw past the last enemy. A line that ends on an enemy stops on them. End it a bit beyond so the swing carries through.
- Loop for two hits. A small circle around an enemy passes them twice. That is how I cleared the tanky ones.
- Go around shields, not through. If an enemy has cover, hook the line behind it. A straight line just stops at the shield.
- Slow is fine. Nothing is timed while you draw. Trace the line with your eye before your finger moves.
- Start from an angle. A line that starts diagonal to the enemy row hits more of them than one drawn straight down the middle.
Draw Action vs Draw Climber and the other draw games
Draw Climber asks you to draw legs; Save the Doge asks you to draw a wall. Draw Action asks you to draw the fight itself, which makes it the most direct of the three: the line you draw is what your fighter does, no physics translation in between. That is why the good levels feel like a puzzle you solved with a pen. The tradeoff is that some levels are lenient and the idea only shows up every few stages. If you liked the drawing part of those games more than the ragdoll part, this is your version.
