TubeGames verdict

Slow, careful heavy-vehicle driving that rewards patience over speed; my favorite sim on Playables.

Vehicle Masters is a driving simulator from Playday, published by SayGames, and it's deliberately unhurried. You're handed trucks, buses, and excavators and asked to move them through tight spaces without scraping anything. My first parking task took three tries, not because it was hard to understand but because a trailer swings wider than my brain expected.

What keeps you playing is the handling. Each vehicle has its own weight and turning circle, and the store listing counts over 20 of them, from pickups to articulated trucks, across 7 regions with different road conditions. Steering pointers show you the line into the green space, and reversing out of a botched approach is allowed, so a mistake is a lesson rather than a fail screen.

The pace will bore some people, and the game knows it; the app store blurb basically tells adrenaline seekers to keep looking. Touch steering on a phone is coarser than I'd like, and later tasks can feel like the same maneuver in a different climate.

Play it if you enjoy parking puzzles and the feel of a big machine. Skip it if you want races or crashes.

Good

  • Real weight to every vehicle
  • Over 20 vehicles, per the store listing
  • Steering pointers make parking learnable
  • Mistakes are recoverable, just reverse

Not so good

  • Slow by design
  • Phone steering is coarse in tight spots
  • Tasks blur together over time

About Vehicle Masters

Test your advanced driving skills in an enormous range of different trucks, buses and even excavators in this realistic truck simulator

Vehicle Masters was published on YouTube Playables on 2025-09-30 by SayGames LTD. In 375 days it has reached about 36M plays.

Vehicle Masters is a driving simulator built around heavy machines. You take the wheel of trucks, buses and excavators, each handling differently from the last, and work through driving tasks across a large range of vehicles.

The draw is the handling - big vehicles that need space and planning rather than speed, with the realism coming from how awkward they are to place. It plays inside YouTube with no install, so you can try a machine or two without committing to a download. Good for driving-sim fans and anyone who likes trucks.

How to play: Steer, accelerate and brake to move each vehicle through its task.

Good for: driving sim fans, longer sessions

How to play Vehicle Masters

Phone / tablet
The usual sim layout on screen: steering on one side, gas and brake on the other, with small taps beating held inputs.
Desktop
Keyboard steering with the usual arrow-key scheme; tap the keys rather than holding them.
Levels
Driving and parking tasks; the store listing counts 20 areas across 7 regions with different climate and road conditions.
Progress
Progress is saved the way YouTube Playables saves it.

Everything is about the pivot point: the rear wheels decide where the trailer goes, not the nose.

Tips for parking the big ones

  1. Slow down before the turn, not in it. Speed makes the turning circle wider. Crawl into the approach and you get room to correct.
  2. Follow the pointers, then check the trailer. The pointers show the line, but the trailer lags behind it. Watch the back end, not the cab.
  3. Reverse early. If the angle is wrong halfway in, back out immediately. Fixing it from a bad spot costs more than restarting the approach.
  4. Learn one vehicle at a time. Each machine has its own turning circle. Stay with one until parking it feels boring, then move on.
  5. Small inputs. Tap the wheel rather than holding it. Big vehicles keep turning after you let go.

Vehicle Masters vs Euro Truck Simulator

Euro Truck Simulator is the long haul: hours on the highway, a delivery at the end. Vehicle Masters is the last hundred meters of that trip, over and over. The parking, the reversing into a bay, the slow crawl past a fence. It skips the driving between jobs and keeps the part where you actually sweat.

That makes it a better fit for a phone and a ten-minute break, and a worse fit if what you love about truck sims is the road itself. The vehicle list is broader, though: the store listing has buses, fire trucks, police cars, and excavators alongside the trucks.

Playing Vehicle Masters online without the app

There's nothing to install. The YouTube version runs in the browser or the YouTube app and loads a heavy-vehicle sim that would normally be a sizable download. What I can't promise is that every vehicle and region from the App Store listing made the trip; I drove several types across a few areas and didn't hit a wall, but I didn't count. If you want the full fleet, the app is the place. If you want to find out whether you like backing up a trailer, start here.

How we rate

The TubeGames rating is our estimate, not a vote. It combines public ratings of the same game elsewhere (App Store 4.6★ (152,405 ratings)) with how it holds up on YouTube Playables: how many people play it and whether they keep playing weeks after launch. Once 10 players rate Vehicle Masters here, their average becomes the headline score.
