Momo the cat takes her spellcasting underwater against a ghost boss
8:36Momo goes underwater, the symbols get faster, and the Doodle magic is still there for one short run.

Magic Cat Academy 2 is the second Doodle outing for Momo the cat, moved underwater. Ghosts drift toward you, each carrying a symbol, and you draw that symbol to cast at them. The first thing I felt was relief that my hand still remembered the shapes; the second was that the water makes everything look slower than it is.
What keeps you playing is the descent. You work downward through the depths, and each stretch brings new sea friends and new arrangements of ghouls, all leading to the Big Boss ghost and its school at the bottom. The ghosts start carrying more than one symbol as you go, so by the middle you're drawing shapes in sequence to clear a single one. My first complete run took a couple of tries, mostly from panic-drawing a squiggle instead of a wave.
The complaints: it's short. A full run is one sitting and then it's done, and I didn't find a level select or a score chase to bring you back. Drawing on a small phone screen gets fiddly when the ghosts bunch up, and one sloppy stroke usually costs you.
Play it if you liked the original Halloween Doodle or want ten minutes of draw-to-cast action with real charm. Skip it if you want something with depth beyond a single run.
Dive in with Momo the cat to help new friends and reach new depths in her adventure against the Big Boss ghost and its school of ghouls...underwater.

Magic Cat Academy 2 moves Momo's story below the surface. You draw the symbol each ghost carries to cast at it, working down through the depths toward the Big Boss ghost and the school of ghouls with it.
The underwater setting brings new friends to help along the way and keeps the rhythm of drawing and dodging that the first game set. It is a short, complete run and plays free inside YouTube with nothing to install.
How to play: Swipe to draw the symbol above each ghost before it reaches you.
Good for: fans of the first game, quick play
The game reads shape, not size, so a small quick stroke counts the same as a big one and keeps you ahead of the next ghost.
If you're trying to work out the order: the first Magic Cat Academy was the Halloween Doodle at a school full of ghosts, this one takes Momo underwater, and Magic Cat Academy 3 sends her up through the layers of the sky after Marshmallow the ghost. The mechanic is the same all the way through: draw the symbol, ghost goes away.
To my hands this second one is the sweet spot. The underwater levels give you new helpers and clearer waves of ghouls, while the third leans harder on the same trick. If you only play one, play this one; if you like it, the third is on YouTube Playables too.
Doodle games only sit on the search homepage for a day. After that they live in the Doodle archive and, in this case, on YouTube Playables, where this one arrived on October 31, 2024. That's the version here: the same game, in a player that fits your phone, with nothing to install. It's a nice fix for the standard Doodle problem, which is that you remember the game a week later and can't find it.
Public play counts for Magic Cat Academy 2 are re-counted every day from the YouTube Playables catalog and shown the way YouTube shows them. The total and rankings above are as of 2026-10-10.
