Trick questions where the obvious answer is wrong and the real one is hiding.
9:38A Brain Test-style trick quiz: the fun is being fooled, and it fools you well for about an hour.

Brain Up is a trick-question quiz in the Brain Test mold. Each screen sets up a puzzle that looks like it wants an answer, and what it really wants is for you to spot the trick: the object you can drag, the word in the question that's lying, the thing hidden under the other thing. My first five levels took a minute total; the sixth took four. That's the design.
The loop is a slow-building distrust. After a few levels you stop taking questions at face value and start poking everything on screen, and the game rewards that. An early catch-the-thief puzzle got me twice out of pure literal-mindedness, and once I saw it, it was fair. Levels are quick, so a wrong guess costs almost nothing.
The complaints are genre-wide. Some tricks are guesses rather than logic, and a couple I only cleared by tapping around. If you've played Brain Test or Brain Out you'll recognize half the setups. And 'boost your IQ' is marketing; this is lateral-thinking trivia, not training.
Play it if you liked Brain Test and want a fresh batch of gotchas, or something to solve with a kid looking over your shoulder. Skip it if tap-around puzzles make you mad, or you've already burned through three of these.
Challenge your brain with tricky puzzles, boost your IQ, and find surprising answers through quick, fun, and creative challenges.

Good for: Brain Test fans, sneaky-riddle lovers, solving together with kids, short train rides
When a question looks impossible, the question itself is usually the puzzle; read it once as written, then again as if every word is a trap.
If you've played Brain Test, you know the format: a scene, a question, a sneaky answer. Brain Up doesn't reinvent it, and it isn't trying to. What it delivers is a fresh batch of setups with a slightly cheekier tone, and on YouTube Playables it opens in a tab with nothing to install, which for a game you'll play in five-minute bursts matters more than it sounds. Where Brain Test wins is polish and sheer volume; it has years of levels. If you've never played either, start with whichever is closer to hand. If you finished Brain Test and want more, this is a decent second helping, not a new dish.
Every one of these puzzles runs on the same bug in your head: you read the question, you form a plan, and you stop looking at the screen. The game hides the answer in the part you stopped looking at. That's why kids often beat adults here; they haven't learned to trust the question yet. Getting good means deliberately undoing that habit. Look at the scene before the text, touch things before you reason, and treat every instruction as a suspect. It feels dumb for the first ten levels and then you're solving them in five seconds.
